How to Put Full-Size Home Mirrors on the Wall
Each morning and before you go out for the evening, full-length mirrors make it easy to see the overall effect of your look. The most popular form of transparent plastic clip is used to hang many wall home mirrors. Installing the mirror with these clips is simple and does not require any additional tools. For someone with only a rudimentary understanding of tools and building, installing a conventional bedroom full-length wall mirror takes around one hour with the help of assistance.
Make Use of a Friend
Standing 5 feet away from the mirror, have assistance preferably someone around 66 inches tall assist you. Move the mirror up or down until the helper can see his entire reflection.
Draw a Leveled Line with a Pencil
Adjust the mirror with a carpenter’s level until it is level. Draw a line with a pencil along the top edge.
Make a note of where you want the mirror to go.
Make a mark 2 inches down from each top corner of the mirror down the side. Along the top border of the home mirror, mark 2 inches from each top corner. Repeat this method on each of the mirror’s bottom corners until you have eight markings.
Make a note of Mirror Clips.
While your helper places a transparent plastic mirror clip over the mark on the bottom right-hand corner of the wall, hold the mirror in place. Mark where the screw hole meets with the wall by pressing the flat side of the clip firmly against the bottom edge of the mirror (such that the bottom edge of the mirror sits on the ledge of the clip). Rep on the other seven marks you created around the mirror using the same procedure.
Use Anchors or Drill Holes
Set the mirror aside and, at each pencil mark, drill tiny diameter pilot holes through the wall into the studs. Using an electronic stud finder and drilling into the center of studs is recommended by Home Depot. Although hanging the home mirror from a stud is preferable to drilling into drywall.
Mirror Clips should be attached.
Place the mirror on the wall and, while you hold it steady, have the helper screw each plastic clip into the pilot holes with a screwdriver until all eight clips are in place. Make use of the screws that came with the plastic clips.
Ensure that the mirror is securely attached.
Take one side of the mirror in each hand and gently move it to ensure that it is properly fixed to the wall.

Tip
If your helper is not quite 66 inches tall, have him stand on a phone book or another substantial item to get him there. If he is taller than 66 inches, ask him to reduce himself to that height by bending his knees. You might take his measurements to give him an indication of his degree.
